Nessun bambino nel crescere resta
un bambino,forse solo uno sciocco.
E chi lo vuol sembrar, è un tarocco
si sa che crescendo,si alza la cresta

Nessun furbo dimostra mai di esserlo
Vero è che fesso non si diventa
difficile sembrarlo se commenta
Solo chi è scaltro può imitarlo

Chi è stolto tutto sa di sapere
Ogni cosa è alla sua portata
Ha tutte le parole da enunciare

Chi è furbo ha nulla da dichiarare
Nessuna richiesta chiara avanzata
E nel silenzio attua le sue opere
