Una delle poesie più famose del patrimonio popolare sufi algerino, le cui parole sono attribuite al grande poeta Muhammad ibn Musayyib, noto anche come Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Musayyib, di una famiglia andalusa che si stabilì a Tlemcen.

#Sheikh_Muhammad_ibn_Musayyib: Uno dei più grandi giganti della poesia popolare.

La sua poesia si distingue per l'estrema tenerezza e la straordinaria ricchezza artistica. Proveniva da una famiglia andalusa e nacque e visse a Tlemcen nel XVIII secolo d.C.

Tra le poche cose che sappiamo della vita del nostro poeta, ricordiamo che era un tessitore e che amava una ragazza di nome Aisha, immortalando il suo nome in bellissime poesie che diffusero la sua fama in lungo e in largo. Dopo aver compiuto il pellegrinaggio dell'Hajj, dichiarò il suo pentimento e scrisse splendide poesie a riguardo. La sua poesia religiosa non è meno bella delle sue poesie d'amore. Nacque alla fine del XVII secolo, nel 1698, e morì nel 1768. Compose poesie d'amore, per poi dedicarsi alla composizione di poesie di lode al Profeta Maometto, pace e benedizioni su di lui. Dopo aver compiuto il pellegrinaggio dell'Hajj, compose molte celebri poesie di lode, tra cui:

Le sue poesie sono considerate un punto di riferimento fondamentale nella storia del patrimonio popolare algerino, in particolare nella poesia sufi, in cui eccelse.

Una panoramica del patrimonio popolare sufi

Il sufismo in Nord Africa rappresenta un pilastro fondamentale della formazione psicologica dei musulmani in questa regione. È risaputo che la maggior parte dei santi e dei sufi risiede in Algeria, soprattutto nell'Algeria occidentale, considerata la regione con la più alta concentrazione di santi del Nord Africa. Le tradizioni sufi sono profondamente radicate nel loro patrimonio popolare e vengono celebrate in tutti i loro usi e costumi, dai matrimoni e dalle feste popolari ai banchetti e alle promesse.

Il sufismo è parte essenziale del quale è la lode al Profeta, ed è noto che la musica in generale rimane la costante compagna della lode al Profeta. La poesia popolare, fin dall'antichità, è stata la forma poetica più conosciuta per commemorare il Profeta, e veniva cantata ai matrimoni popolari da sceicchi e donne. Si è evoluta nel tempo ed è poi diventata nota come musica Rai algerina, che ha raggiunto la fama negli anni Settanta. A prima vista potrebbe sembrare lontana da questa atmosfera religiosa, ma chi studia la storia di quest'arte scopre che essa si fonda sull'utilizzo del patrimonio popolare. Si tratta di un movimento musicale e vocale nato nell'Algeria occidentale alla fine degli anni Sessanta, le cui origini risalgono agli sceicchi del canto beduino, e le cui radici antiche affondano in quella che in Algeria viene chiamata la tradizione degli sceicchi. La lingua dei canti beduini deriva da un dialetto colloquiale vicino all'arabo beduino, e trae ispirazione principalmente da canti religiosi e problematiche sociali. Durante il periodo coloniale francese, l'attenzione si concentrò sulla narrazione delle tragedie degli abitanti, dalle difficoltà della vita ai mali sociali, nel tentativo di sensibilizzare i colonizzatori. La regione di Tlemcen è considerata la regione più poetica dell'Algeria 🇩🇿, contraddistinta da questo stile. Una delle sue figure più importanti è il poeta Sheikh Mohamed Ben Messaib.

🔴#Fama_del_canto: Questa poesia divenne molto famosa e fu cantata per secoli nell'Algeria occidentale 🇩🇿. Quando la musica Rai algerina divenne popolare, questo brano fu riproposto da artisti Rai come Cheb Khaled Hadj Ibrahim, Cheb Mami, il compianto Jalal e Cheb Anwar. An Overview of Sufi Folk Heritage

Sufism in North Africa represents a fundamental pillar of the psychological makeup of Muslims in this region. It is well-known that most of the saints and Sufis reside in Algeria, especially in western Algeria, which is considered the region with the highest concentration of saints in North Africa. Sufi traditions are deeply rooted in their popular heritage and are celebrated in all their customs and traditions, from weddings and popular celebrations to feasts and promises.

Sufism is an essential part of which is praise of the Prophet, and it is known that music in general remains the constant companion of praise of the Prophet. Popular poetry since ancient times was the most well-known type of poetry written for the purpose of remembrance of the Prophet, which was sung at popular weddings in the form of sheikhs and women's interventions. It developed over time and was later known in the art of Algerian Rai music, which became famous in the seventies. It is a musical and vocal movement that originated in western Algeria in the late sixties, and its origins go back to the sheikhs of Bedouin song, and its ancient roots go back to what is called the sheikhs in Algeria. The language of Bedouin songs is from the colloquial dialect close to Bedouin Arabic, and it takes most of its themes from religious praise and social problems. During the French colonial period, her focus was on narrating the tragedies of the inhabitants, from the hardships of life to social ills, attempting to raise awareness among the colonizers. The Tlemcen region is considered the most poetic region in Algeria 🇩🇿, distinguished by this style. One of its most prominent figures is the poet Sheikh Mohamed Ben Messaib.
