La spietata stanchezza dell'anima  

soffoca le sensazioni del cuore 

trasforma la vita senza amore 

anche l'allegria lontana spasima

Ti ritrovi col passato vissuto

vivi un presente vuoto e pure assente

un disilluso futuro pesante

tutto privo di vero contenuto

Vita che scivola via veloce 

I capelli si tingono di bianco 

E gli occhi contornati dalle rughe 

I vestiti simili più a toghe 

Sul viso resta un sorriso da stanco 

E tu diventi sempre più feroce

The ruthless weariness of the soul
stifles the sensations of the heart
transform life without love
even distant mirth gasps

You find yourself a lived past
you have an empty and absent present
a disillusioned future heavy
all devoid of real content

Life slips by you fast
The hair is dyed white
Eyes surrounded by wrinkles

The most toga-like clothes
A tired smile remains on his face
And you get more and more ferocious
