GRANELLI DI SABBIA IN UN DESERTO DI DUNE

.

Siamo granelli di sabbia in un deserto di dune.
Pugni di sabbia tra le nostre dita e
scorre veloce il tempo della nostra vita
come sabbia chiusa  in una clessidra.
In pugno non abbiamo proprio niente,
Se non un destino che promette tanto e
poi ci lascia gran dolore e vano rimpianto.
Siamo granelli di sabbia in un deserto di dune..
Nulla perdura e tutto scongiura.

We are grains of sand in a desert of dunes.
Fists of sand between our fingers and
the time of our life goes by quickly
like sand closed in an hourglass.
We have absolutely nothing in hand,
If not a destiny that promises so much and
then he leaves us with great pain and vain regret. We are grains of sand in a desert of dunes.. Nothing lasts and everything averts.
